Preamble:
This code of conduct will apply to ALL drivers in the championship and can be changed or altered at any point throughout the season. Failure to comply with the code of conduct can result in penalization, suspension, or banishment from GTSL. The following sections are intended as guidelines for the
standards of conduct, ethical principles, and behaviours expected of all league participants, including drivers,
teams, forum members, administrators, volunteers, and staff.
Suspensions:
A driver or team who is suspended by a staff member must serve the full length of the given suspension unless otherwise noted by the suspending staff member. The suspended member must not participate in ANY PART of a race session (including official practice, qualifying, and race sessions). If more than 2 suspensions are given out within a single season, then the driver or team will be suspended for the entirety of the remaining season. If near the end of the season, the driver/team can be suspended for the next season at the discretion of staff. Suspensions apply to all season sanctioned GTSL races, exhibition events will not count towards the suspension, and the driver may be able to participate in exhibition events if cleared by staff. Anyone who is being investigated without video submission by the prosecuting party cannot be suspended, video recorded evidence must be submitted in order to suspend a driver/team.
Banishment:
A banishment of a driver/team is subject to all of the above rules, however, it is permanent. A banished driver may not participate in any GTSL sanctioned series and will have their forum membership revoked. Banishment can be ruled if a driver/team inquires 3 or more suspensions total in any series.
